19th Ave Bridge

Currently in the design phase with construction scheduled to begin this summer, this project will link two biking & running trails over the busy 19th Avenue artery. The structure will be wrapped with a custom perforated metal enclosure that echoes the cyclical phases of the moon and shields passers-by from the harsh desert sun. Dark-skies-friendly illumination and integral phosphorescence will uniquely light the bridge & pathway with minimal energy requirements without contributing to light pollution.
